This lobby has been designed for Finn, a Hotel in the city centre of Almere that offers luxury accommodations for a low budget. The goal was to show and define the hotels identity while attracting and inviting people to the second and third floor of the hotel that have been situated out of direct sight. With its distinguishing color gradient and bold interplay of lines the wall panels and counter are eyecatchers of the space.
The counter functions dually as a spacial volume and a separation element that introduces visitors into the space by its sloping line.Second the colored wood creates a warm environment and clean identity and contrasts the sleek polyester floor and white walls.used to accentuate the shape of the space and to attract the view from the street.
